Do you know that the glass used in explosion-proof lights is different from general lights? Glass is deemed as one of the key explosion-proof components, and surface flatness plays an important role of its’ quality! The glass is tempered and enforced with impact resistant feature to withstand the power of internal explosions. In addition, the flatness must comply with the requirement of international explosion-proof standard. Glass with excellent flatness can fit evenly to the light enclosure and prevent the passage of sparks effectively; in contrast the glass will break when an interior explosion of the light occurs. THT-EX strictly controls the quality of each lighting and inspect whether the flatness of each glass is qualified when it is received. Only qualified glass can be used! We ensure that every explosion-proof lighting is provided to the customer with safe and reliable quality!

Raining is not challenging enough as a lighting test.  The best way is to turn on the power and soak the lighting to prove its' super waterproof performance! ☔ ️  We specially made an oversized stainless-steel water tank with a depth of 1.2 meters for this testing. All lighting fixtures must pass this IP68/ NEMA6P 💦 waterproof testing before shipment. Grain barn  is a dust-filled area where full with flammable particles in the air. A small spark could cause an explosion in such environment. Therefore, using  explosion-proof lighting  is essential to avoid accidents. In addition to solving the safety problem, upgrading the conventional HPS explosion-proof lighting to explosion-proof LED lighting, will make the whole working environment brighter and more comfortable. After installation, we will measure lightings one by one to ensure the installation quality. Customer satisfaction and safety come first. Generally, we concerned about using high wattage lighting would cause overheating, or high-intensity illumination would atomize or melt the PC cover and affect the performance of lighting and reducing its’ brightness.  To prove our lighting quality, we examine the lightings through high temperature boiling test. After 6 hours of 100°C (212°F) boiled test, our high wattage lighting still maintain good illumination. The PC cover has 130°C (266°F) high temperature resistance feature, no melting or cracking was found, and the waterproof rating is up to IP68. It’s a great choice as industrial safety lighting for high temperature environment.
