After intensive development, THT-EX Explosion-proof LED Lighting model No. L1102 finally achieved the highest Explosion-proof standard IIC and was granted approval from TUV. The approved products can be used in hazardous environment where contains of Hydrogen and Ethane. This lighting has also received UL Class 1 Division1 (C1D1) approval, the highest level among all standards.
THT-EX's new product ~ Portable Emergency Explosion-proof Lighting provides two designs: Single Lighting & Double Lighting and both are with adjustable bracket height from 1.5 meters to 2.1 meters. The wattage of Single Lighting are 60W, 80W, 100W whilst Double Lighting comes with 120W, 160W, 200W. And the available CCT for both designs are 5000K and 3000K. Two of our R&D staffs took "Equipment for use in Explosive Atmospheres" training at IEC last year. Now, they have finally received Certificate of Personnel competence; the scope of competence is applying basic principles of protection in explosive atmospheres. This was a difficult training as there were only eight certificates issued in Taiwan so far. Our staffs have shown an excellent ability to obtain two of the certificates. THT-EX Explosion-proof LED lighting L1102 series has got UL Class I, Division 1; Class II, Division 1 Explosion-proof recognition. A better protection grade is presented. This product series is applicable for hazardous environment where ignitable concentrations of flammable gases, vapors or liquids can exist all of the time or some of the time. L1102 products were already installed at many hazardous areas; such as air product factory, petrochemical plant, paper mill and biotechnology factory,...etc. Products are designed and manufactured in Taiwan with global certifications.
